Hi, I’m Khrys — a yoga therapist, studio owner, and forever student of this practice.
Yoga Therapy has been a steady guide through many chapters of my life: becoming a mother, growing a business, and learning to care for myself while caring for so many others. Every season has shown me something new about what it means to be human, and yoga has been the thread that helps me meet it all with a little more steadiness and compassion.
Even after a decade of teaching, I remain committed to being a student first. I study weekly with Chase Bossart, a teacher who continues to refine my understanding of yoga’s therapeutic foundations. I also work regularly with my own yoga therapist and mentor; both are relationships that keep me grounded, curious, and connected to the heart of the lineage. This ongoing study shapes the way I teach, hold space, and hold me accountable in my own inner work.
Alongside running the yoga studio, I support clients 1:1 as a yoga therapist, teach weekly studio classes, guide workshops, and train new yoga teachers. My greatest joy is helping people discover that yoga is so much more than postures—it’s a way of living with clarity, agency, and tenderness. Whether someone is seeking support through stress, grief, pain, transition, or simply curious about their inner landscape, I believe yoga therapy can meet them right where they are.
I’ve completed extensive advanced training as a yoga teacher and yoga therapist, including the highest level of teaching certification through Yoga Alliance and a comprehensive clinical yoga therapy certification recognized by the International Association of Yoga Therapists. I’ve also completed speciality trainings in Yoga Nidra Meditation. Before devoting myself fully to this work, I earned two Bachelor’s degrees from Boston University in Philosophy and Spanish Language & Literature.
Just a Little More About Me
I’m originally from Southern California, but I truly came of age in New England during my college years in Boston, with a brief (and unforgettable) stint in the Reno–Tahoe area. These landscapes and communities shaped my curiosity, my love of culture, and my understanding of how people move through the world.
At home, I’m happiest on daily walks with my family and our two German Shepherds. I love to read—novels, essays, poetry, anything that lets me inhabit another perspective for a while. I’m a homebody with a soft spot for an elegant night out at the newest fancy restaurant. I love traveling and learning from other places; my most recent adventure took me to Santiago, Chile, a city that left me both inspired and introspective.
Most mornings, you’ll find me awake before sunrise. Those quiet, early hours are where I feel most like myself.
Hola! I’m Khrys.
